Getting found by the people already searching for what you sell
Search work in Nigeria is sold with promises no honest person can keep. Page one in thirty days. Guaranteed rankings. We do not work that way. We fix what is technically broken, build the pages that actually answer what people search, set up your local presence, and report what changed and why. Rankings follow that. They are not something anyone can sell you directly.
What is included
- Technical audit and fixes. Crawlability, indexation, speed, structured data, broken links, redirect chains and mobile problems.
- On page work. Titles, headings, internal linking and the content gaps on the pages that matter.
- Local search, for businesses with a location or a service area. Google Business Profile setup, local schema, and the directory listings that actually count in Nigeria.
- Content strategy. Which pages and articles to write, in what order, based on what people search and what competitors already cover.
- Search Console and analytics configured properly, with the enquiries you care about tracked rather than raw visitor counts.
- Monthly reporting. What changed, what moved and what we are doing next, in plain language rather than a wall of metrics.
What is not included
- Guaranteed positions. Anyone offering those is either misinformed or lying, and you should walk away from them.
- Buying links. It is against Google guidelines and it eventually costs you the rankings you paid for.
- Writing every article for ever. We plan the content and can produce it, or brief your own writer.
What we need from you
Access, and patience. We need administrator access to the website, and ownership of the Google Business Profile and Search Console if they already exist. If they do not, we create them in your name rather than ours, which matters the day you decide to work with somebody else.
The patience is the harder part. Search work shows nothing for the first month and then compounds. If you need enquiries this week, ads will do that and search will not, and we would rather say so at the start than three months in.
How it works
- Audit. A full technical and content review, delivered as a prioritised list rather than a ninety page PDF nobody reads.
- Fix phase. The technical problems holding the whole site back, done first, usually in the first two to three weeks.
- Build phase. New and improved pages, internal linking and local signals, month by month against the strategy.
- Review. A monthly report and a call to decide the next month priorities.
What you get
The prioritised audit, the technical fixes implemented, a content plan you keep, local listings set up in your name, and a monthly report showing movement on the terms that matter to the business.
How long it takes
Technical fixes land in the first two to three weeks. Meaningful movement in search usually takes three to six months, and longer in competitive categories. We will tell you which of your terms are realistic and which are not before you spend anything.
What it costs
The audit can be bought on its own. Ongoing search work is a monthly retainer scoped to how much building the site needs and how competitive your terms are. Quoted before you commit, and cancellable monthly.
An example
MeeksGuide, a lifestyle and information publisher, had good writing and almost no readers. After the rebuild and the search work it passed AdSense review first time and grew past ten thousand organic visits.
Questions people ask about search
- How is this different from the search setup in a website build? A new build ships search ready, meaning structure, schema, sitemap and Search Console. This service is the ongoing work of ranking: content, local signals, and competing over months. You are not paying twice for the same thing.
- Do you do local search for a business with no shopfront? Yes. A service area business can rank in map results with the right profile setup, service areas and citations.
- Will you tell me if search work is not worth it for my business? Yes. For some very local or very new businesses, ads or social get results faster, and we would rather say so than take a retainer.
