What we set without asking
- Your appearance choice. Remembers whether you picked the light or dark version of the site, so it does not flip back every visit. Stored in your browser, never sent to us.
- Your answer to the cookie banner. Remembers that you already answered, so we stop asking. Stored in your browser.
- The campaign that brought you here. If you arrived from a link we tagged, that tag is kept for the length of your visit and cleared when you close the tab, so that an enquiry can be matched to the advert that earned it.
None of these identify you, and none of them follow you to other websites. Under most cookie rules they are strictly necessary or a preference, which is why the site does not ask permission for them.
What we set only if you agree
Google Analytics cookies, and nothing else. If you decline the banner, or ignore it, Analytics never loads at all. It is not loaded and then switched off; the script is never requested.
Our own statistics use no cookies
We count visits with our own software on our own server. It sets nothing in your browser and stores no IP address. See the privacy policy for how that works.
Changing your mind
Clear this site’s data in your browser settings and the banner will ask you again. Every major browser also lets you block cookies entirely; this site keeps working if you do.
