1. Purpose
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for all MeekPixels services, including web design, branding, SEO, and digital marketing.
By engaging our services, you agree to the terms stated below.
2. Project Deposits
- All projects require an upfront deposit before work begins.
- Deposits and partial payments are non-refundable once design or development has started.
- Deposits confirm your project booking and cover initial design, setup, and administrative costs.
3. Client-Initiated Cancellations
- Clients may cancel their project with 14 days’ written notice sent to [email protected].
- Work completed up to the cancellation date will be billed accordingly.
- Any payments made before cancellation are non-refundable.
- If cancellation occurs after project completion, no refund will be provided.
All cookies used comply with privacy and security laws, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA 2023).
4. MeekPixel-Initiated Cancellations
In rare cases, MeekPixel may cancel a project due to technical limitations, client non-cooperation, or other valid reasons.
- If we cancel for reasons unrelated to client breach, we will refund any funds received beyond the value of completed work.
- Completed design or development work will remain the property of MeekPixels until full payment is made.
5. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may only apply under these conditions:
- Double payment made in error.
- Service not initiated within 30 days of payment (and client chooses to withdraw).
- Project cancellation initiated by MeekPixels before work begins.
Refunds do not apply for dissatisfaction after project completion, as we provide revision rounds and approval stages to confirm client satisfaction before final delivery.
6. Late Payments & Termination
- Projects with unpaid balances for over 30 days may be paused or terminated.
- Work ownership transfers only after full payment is received.
- Reactivation of suspended projects may incur additional fees.
7. Digital Products & Marketing Packages
For one-time digital services (e.g., SEO packages, ad campaigns, content writing):
- Payments are non-refundable once the campaign or work has started.
- Subscription-based or retainer services may be canceled for future billing cycles only — not retroactively
8. Processing Refunds
If a refund is approved, it will be processed to the same account or payment method used for the transaction within 7–10 business days.
